Takeover of a bedroom manufacturer in Sulz and relocation of production to Sulz by the Neckar by the three brothers Fritz, Eugen and Alfred Wössner
1950
Production of bedrooms and wooden cabinets for radios, radiograms and televisions
1954
Fritz Wössner, one of the sons of the company’s founder dies on the 18th of February.
1966
The company’s founder Georg Wössner dies on the 16th of March.
1967
First production of corner seats, tables, chairs and rustic sideboards
1969
Fire destroys the factory in Neckartal
1971
Construction of the new factory in the industrial area in Sulz-Kastell
1972
Promotion of young talents through professional training as Carpenter and Industrial Business Management Assistant
1979
Assumption of the company management by Angelika Wössner
1982
Phase-out of production of media cabinets and specialisation in corner seats, dining rooms and country style furniture
1983
Eugen Wössner, one of the sons of the company’s founder dies on the 22nd of December.
1990
First solid wood dining corner programme in alder called “Erlkoenig”.
Factory expansion and implementation of an environmentally-sound general energy concept with heat recovery
1997
First company workshops held for training consultants about production, programmes, product advantages, planning and sales psychology (Meanwhile a regular hit).
2000
Senior partner Alfred Wössner, father of the company’s director Angelika Wössner, dies on the 8th of June.
2001
On the 27th of April, fire destroys the Plant 1.
Expansion of vocational training in the area of Upholsterer.
2002
The 2800 sq m extension of the factory fills the last gap around the inner courtyard.
Thus the chair production, remaining stocks sale as well as wood warehouse and the dry chamber have been integrated into the U-shaped factory premises.
Simultaneously, the company’s image is updated and it receives the present logo.
